Age's training expertise includes the design, production, delivery and evaluation of small one-off sessions; competency-based training modules, train-the-trainer workshops and sector-wide training to introduce new government initiatives and requirements.
Glen Sorensen's training portfolio includes time and task management, professional boundary setting, practical problem solving, elder abuse, data reporting, assessment, case management, risk assessment and management, policy and procedure development, advocacy skills, meeting service standards.
He has designed multi-module induction training packages for Commonwealth Respite and Carelink staff (national), the Supported Accommodation Assistance Program (NSW) and Baptist Community Services. He has also produced train-the-trainer packages for the Community Services and Ageing, Disability and Home Care, NSW Department of Human Services.
